Some Frequently Asked Questions

What is counselling?  - Talking to a counsellor in a confidential, understanding, non judgmental setting can enable you to explore issues that are troubling you. Perhaps you are unable to talk to those close to you because you worry about upsetting them. Or perhaps you feel you will be judged or misunderstood by others. Counselling allows you to talk freely without such constraints. Your counsellor will not tell you what to do or give you advice but will help you work towards making your own decisions and life choices.

What can CSD offer me? - At CSD we promote emotional well being. We offer you an alternative solution to long waiting lists and high fees. CSD is a professional service which is affordable. Fees are based on your income. We will not turn anyone away due to their lack of finance.

Do you deal with my specific problem? - At CSD we will see people from all walks of life with all sorts of issues.
